Practice Manager
Stephanie and her beautiful smile will be the first team member to welcome you into our office. Stephanie is a Medical Assistant with over 10 years of experience. She manages to kindly answer 5 phone lines and has somehow even come to recognize many of our established patients when they call back in for repeat appointments! She is available to answer insurance, procedure or surgical authorization questions. She will assist you in checking in and out the office seamlessly.
Stephanie was born and raised in Southern California’s wonderful South Bay area. Stephanie loves watching movies and spending time with her family. Stephanie is a lover of animals (especially dogs) and she has a great sense of humor. Stephanie looks forward to getting to know each and every patient and their families.
ERIKA
Back Office Supervisor
Erika is trained as a Back Office Medical Assistant and brings 20yrs of healthcare experience with her to our practice. She has worked for community clinics and private concierge offices within the fields of OBGYN, Pediatrics, Internal Medicine, EITP, and Men’s Health.
Erika’s vast experience in the field of women’s health makes her the ideal back office manager. In this role her primary responsibilities include medical assisting, surgical scheduling, prior authorizations and triaging medical questions from patients. She is a true patient advocate and goes above and beyond for all of our patients.
She is married to a wonderful man, Marcos, and has 7 beautiful children. Together they enjoy camping, hiking, and taking road trips.
Ashley Adkins
Medical Assistant
Ashley is the one of newer members of our team joining us in August 2023. She finished her training in medical assisting in 2022 at Los Angeles Job Corps and immediately started working in the field of women’s health. She has now worked in both large non profit clinics as well as private practices. She is very excited about working at Westside Women’s Health and has already learned a lot from this practice.
Her role at Westside Women’s Health is primarily in the “back office”. She handles everything from patient intake to venipunctures. She assists in all office procedures and even helps to keep the place tidy!
Ashley was born in Long Beach and raised in Los Angeles, she’s one of six children (she’s the youngest). In her free time you’ll find her with her Yorkie mix Peppa, at the beach with a good book, or assembling Lego builds.
